Who NOT to put on the school board. Your Yokel voter primer!

This is how things will be if we let these folks onto the school board.

We know there’s a lot going on in the world today.

Amongst the chaos that is the world today, we still need to remember how important it is to vote smartly when it comes to our local affairs. The school board election may not seem that important, but it is gravely important. The school board helps determine what is taught, what books are used, which books are banned, and regulations that determine what kind of treatment and rights students and staff have in public school buildings. They literally help shape our children’s future. What’s more important than that?

If you’ve been a frequent reader, you know we aren’t a fan of Cindy Rose. (If you are new click this link for more info). We’ll touch on her and her slate, but here’s a couple of more pieces of evidence as to why her logic “skills” would not be a welcome addition to our school board:

This morning Cindy and her slate (who we will discuss soon) decided to pen an LTE to the Frederick News Post about why the search for the new superintendent should wait until after the next election. Here’s our favorite part:

On second thought, maybe that’s exactly why they are in a hurry? What better way to sabotage a joyful, hope-filled, student-focused and traditional vision for Frederick County’s students, parents and teachers than to saddle them with a progressive superintendent who may not be in lock-step with a new majority’s vision?

And so do the rest of us!

And this is all so rich coming from a group of people who belong to a party that justified Mitch McConnell’s blocking Obama’s nominee for the Supreme Court while rushing through one in the last few weeks of Trump’s administration.

This LTE reminded us that we need to get to the rest of the candidates. We did some research, and since we adhere to the philosophy of letting people show us who they are (and then believing it), we will let their words and pictures speak for themselves.

We’ll begin with the rest of Cindy’s new hate slate

First up, homeschool parent Mark Joannides:

The good of humanity? Locking who up?
And you received your medical degree from where? Why should we believe you?!

We know this is a lot to take in, but there’s more…

Nancy Allen, who doesn’t appear to have had any interaction with the FCPS until now also has some thoughts:

And the last one to grace Cindy’s bandwagon, Olivia Angolia, whose qualifications are that she used to be a student:

Nope!
The current nominee is very qualified, morons.

Have you caught the theme with these folks?

There’s still three more to go. The next on our list is the first defector from Cindy’s slate, Ashley Nieves. Let’s visit what she thought was suitable to mail out to Frederick County voters:

Next up are two candidates that are out walking around with Ashley. The first one is Tiffany Noble a person who associates with a Florida based group, Moms for Liberty. The local chapter of this group posted a few things asking all “Mama Bears” to join their call.

We feel the need to call out this Mama Bear tripe. All of your Lady Yokels are moms. We all feel the need to stand up for our kids when necessary, but more importantly teach them to advocate for themselves. This Mama Bear vibe gives the impression that my kid’s needs are more important than yours. It’s aggressive, combative, and serves no real purpose other than to make someone feel as though they are being a good parent. The rest of us are not impressed.

Let’s leave the Mama Bear stuff with the bears

Tiffany Noble is our Moms for “Liberty” candidate. Here’s her philosophy:

Not one? We know for sure that isn’t true. So, our first introduction to her is a lie. And how is it a good look to call teachers and staff bullies? Good luck with that sista!
Another statement with no proof!

Last one on our list (for now) is April Montgomery:

We are going to zoom in on the next screenshot so you can really see how she put a Confederate flag collar on her dog. And yes, that date stamp is 2021, not 1921.
We don’t even know what to say about this.

We’ll leave you with a post she made this morning to round it all out:

Trust people when they show you who they are. We’ve provided commentary, but edited nothing.

Don’t worry, happy fun time post of who you should trust your children’s future to is on the way soon!

What a great time to be #TeamRussia!

We have two local office runners who feel Team Russia is the side to take! First up, insurrectionist Dan Cox! Of course it’s no surprise that he falls on the side of Trump who called Putin’s aggressive actions genius. Behold:

We are always amazed by his poor writing skills.

Here’s what he’s liking on Twitter today!

Perennial school board candidate has many green thoughts about the situation, and of course it’s ignorant as all get out.

Oh it’s exactly what it seems dummy.
Uh.. God the world this woman lives in.
What an intelligent, classy, and well formed thought!
Sigh.

Stay vigilant folks! We cannot let people with poor judgment into our political arena!

A potpourri of dumbf@ckery!

This election year is going to be a hot mess! And this is coming from a group of gals who followed Billy Shreve, Kirby Deluater, Blaine Young, and Tony Chmelik for years! We must guard our local government against the people who have no idea what’s going on outside their partisan bubble.

We’ll get you all nice and updated with our perennial foe, Cindy Rose, first! If you want to steel yourself with a shot of tequila, you’ll get no judgement from us!

When’s the last time she was in the company of other humans? Any English teachers want to use their red pen on this one?

Nope! Grow up! (Editor’s note: do y’all think this means she reaaaaally wants to be able to use the n word?)

Seriously!

Science teachers beware!

This last post is seriously one of the dumbest things we have ever read. Why fund studies? Why do experiments? Cindy has all the anecdotal evidence y’all will ever need! Folks, if we allow someone who wants to ban books, remove sex education from the curriculum because she finds it disrespectful, and apparently believes her stories trump peer-reviewed studies, why do we even have a school system? But that’s the point: make no mistake, that’s the absolute goal of Cindy and these other Republicans. They want to dismantle and delegitimize public education.

Yeah, that’s the reason. And so very rich coming from someone who wants to restrict information in the schools! And we think you mean “where,” not “were.”

Unfortunately we need to move on to Dan Cox and his delusional campaign for governor.

Dan claims that he’s a lawyer, but man his lack of knowledge is just embarrassing.

Seems like a good time to bring this back up!

Wondering what he’s been up to during this legislative session?

NB: Not that we would have been Tories back in the day, but Cox aligns himself instinctively? habitually? both? with overthrowing the government. Since he thinks Pence is a traitor, given all we know about current events, it’s a terrible look.

The opposition to a ghost gun ban is really special in light of the fact that a child was shot at a Montgomery County high school recently with a ghost gun. Dan (who didn’t attend public school nor do his children) doesn’t seem to realize that not all parents are good parents, and that for some kids school is the only place where they can talk to a trusted adult. Forcing school personnel to disclose certain information can lead to real harm to these children, both psychologically and physically. Impeaching an out-going governor is also a fun throw-in! Wonder where he copied and pasted that from! But Dan doesn’t live in the real world, just click on through this link to see our previous reporting on his past antics.

One last look at Dan’s amazing logic:

Whoa! That’s a lot to unpack! Maybe he is (gasp!) even more confused than we thought, though, since the Tories would have thought much the same of General Washington’s guerilla warriors. Pick an idea, Dan!

Isn’t it stunning how many Republicans worship Putin these days?

We’ll end on the other Republican candidate for governor, since dismantling public education seems to be the theme of this election year:

Let’s unpack this a bit shall we? Charter schools have not shown any better outcomes, especially the for-profit ones. Which are the ones Republicans push for because it makes money for their cronies. Schools have been open and those that have closed around the country have been the ones WITHOUT mask mandates. Curriculums and standards ARE already posted online, stop being lazy and look. What defines partisan politics? We would love an answer please! And do these safe school initiatives include keeping weapons out of the schools? We’ll be waiting……

Anyone in the mood for a good old-fashioned book banning?!

The dream library of those who haven’t picked up a book since high school.

Surely you’ve heard of the Tennessee board of education’s decision to ban the graphic novel Maus, an account of the Holocaust. This board of education cited dubious claims of mouse nudity and profanity as to why children should not have their precious little eyes tainted by its pages. The grown ups in the room know it’s just another attempt to eradicate history and control information.

Let’s swing on back to our upcoming BOE election because it’s super important to be vigilant about these local elections. So, ICYMI, Cindy Rose is a book banner and we have all kinds of fun receipts!

We would like to take you back to 2018! In the post linked above, you will see some emails that Cindy wrote to FCPS about books (that she admittedly didn’t read!) that she didn’t want available to our students! The subject of those books apparently don’t fit reality as she sees it, so no child should be allowed to read them! I mean come on folks do you really want someone like Cindy deciding what is and isn’t appropriate for your kids to read? Especially when she didn’t even bother to read the books she’s complaining about?

Nothing to see here folks! But come on! When do snake’s oil advertisements equal real science? Just another example of her critical thinking skills.

In the above mentioned post, you will also get to see a Facebook post about the children’s book, Click Clack Moo! (And yes we really did contact the author!) She’s afraid that the cows and chickens in the story demanding the farmer give them blankets when they are cold will cause all the little children to revolt! Against what isn’t clear.

Cindy and her peeps really need to grow up.

Cindy also has some new thoughts about the FCPS hiring process:

The amazing thing about Cindy and people like her is that they think they are espousing American values! When, in fact, they want compliance to their way of thinking only! How un-American can you get?

A book that really affected one of your Lady Yokels when she was a wee lass was a book called Mexicali Soup.

In this book family members, one by one, come into the kitchen asking the matriarch to remove an item from the soup. At dinner time the family is shocked to learn the menu consists of only hot water. If everyone wants to remove something they don’t like, we are eventually left with nothing.

Frequently banned author, Stephen King, has lots of good thoughts about what do about these book banners (It’s long but well worth it):

First, to the kids: There are people in your home town who have taken certain books off the shelves of your school library. Do not argue with them; do not protest; do not organize or attend rallies to have the books put back on their shelves. Don’t waste your time or your energy. Instead, hustle down to your public library, where these frightened people’s reach must fall short in a democracy, or to your local bookstore, and get a copy of what has been banned. Read it carefully and discover what it is your elders don’t want you to know. In many cases you’ll finish the banned book in question wondering what all the fuss was about. In others, however, you will find vital information about the human condition. It doesn’t hurt to remember that John Steinbeck, J.D. Salinger, and even Mark Twain have been banned in this country’s public schools over the last 20 years.

Second, to the parents in these towns: There are people out there who are deciding what your kids can read, and they don’t care what you think because they are positive their ideas of what’s proper and what’s not are better, clearer than your own. Do you believe they are? Think carefully before you decide to accord the book-banners this right of cancellation, and remember that they don’t believe in democracy but rather in a kind of intellectual autocracy. If they are left to their own devices, a great deal of good literature may soon disappear from the shelves of school libraries simply because good books — books that make us think and feel — always generate controversy.

If you are not careful and diligent about defending the right of your children to read, there won’t be much left, especially at the junior-high level where kids really begin to develop a lively life of the mind, but books about heroic boys who come off the bench to hit home runs in the bottom of the ninth and shy girls with good personalities who finally get that big prom date with the boy of their dreams. Is this what you want for your kids, keeping in mind that controversy and surprise — sometimes even shock — are often the whetstone on which young minds are sharpened?

Third, to the other interested citizens of these towns: Please remember that book-banning is censorship, and that censorship in a free society is always a serious matter — even when it happens in a junior high, it is serious. A proposal to ban a book should always be given the gravest consideration. Book-banners, after all, insist that the entire community should see things their way, and only their way. When a book is banned, a whole set of thoughts is locked behind the assertion that there is only one valid set of values, one valid set of beliefs, one valid perception of the world. It’s a scary idea, especially in a society which has been built on the ideas of free choice and free thought.

Whoa! Those last few lines really say it all. We can’t let the book banners (and don’t forget about that slate she’s running with) on our board. Free thought and ideas, including critical examination of our nation’s history, are crucial in education. We’ll leave you with one last post we wrote a few months back:

Don’t let the fascists win!

Cindy Rose’s Facebook posts….a response in memes.

This year Cindy Rose and friends are attempting to pull off a coup against our local school board. It’s her fourth time trying, and the fourth time we must send her packing. You won’t enjoy her latest posts, but hopefully you’ll enjoy our memes.

Maybe someone needs a subscription to Hulu so she can watch Dopesick. We would suggest reading the book, but we don’t want to risk her writing to the BOE again to ban the book for any “unsavory content”.
Do your research Cindy!

Cindy thinks she can override the Constitution! How neat! And we must point out how irritating it is to see school board candidates who can’t spell worth a damn.
No maybe about it!
Cindy’s political instincts are as bad as Dan’s!
At least they should, but alas!

We don’t even want to know what she did two days after the insurrection!

So very brave!

What does this even mean? We only listen to medical advice from people who live within the borders of our county?

We sure have!
People who just make some stuff up should not expect to be taken seriously, especially if they sincerely believe it while disregarding empirical evidence. (And that looks like someone to keep an eye on, District 2 folks!)
Seriously!
Hopefully Big Bird still triggers them!

This is the first of many posts about the BOE race this year. We know many aren’t happy with the current board, and with good reason! However, we can’t make it worse. And this one and her ilk will absolutely make it worse. Let’s all encourage our capable friends and neighbors to run this year! We need sane, thoughtful people on the board. Not this hot mess!

How low will we go with Cindy Rose on the board?

It isn’t a question we want to ponder. With 11 months until the election we all need to make sure we are making good choices for our next school board. In this edition of Why We Can’t Let This Thrice Loser on the Board we will explore some recent shares on her Tentacle account.

Becker news?

Everyone in this county should be super skeptical of how a person who thinks they aren’t gullible, but in reality is susceptible to really dumb propaganda, would handle very real health crises in our schools. At the Yokel we like to joke that if Cindy lived in Alabama she would be a Bernie bro since it seems as though she’s more interested in being a contrarian than in formulating any logical positions on just about anything.

Uh, students are not being tested every day. But of course she has no real grasp of the day to day operations of FCPS.

Because neo pink gorillas in the room is not a thing! And neither is what she is implying!

Yet another example of her glaring ignorance of the FCPS curriculum. Has she read any of the standards? And we challenge her to define specifically what CRT is and how it relates to any FCPS standard.

We saved the worst for last:

What are these news sources?

Cindy has a problem with the LGBTQ+ community. She tried to sue FCPS over their regulation allowing students to use the bathroom of the gender they identify with. She used the argument that a girl had harassed her daughter in a locker room as the reason, which we still don’t get because it is in no way related to this regulation, but alas…when has she ever made sense? But to suggest that teachers are creepily recruiting kids into LGBTQ+ clubs not only reveals what kind of person she is, but also shows us her lack of critical thinking skills.

Her ridiculous slate had their first “event” last week; it’s hard to ascertain how many people showed up from their Facebook post. But we are going to speculate wildly and guess: less than 50, predominantly white, with a median age of about 65. Prove us wrong!

Stay alert folks. We will keep following Kirby’s advice and follow the money on the Maryland Campaign fundraising page.

All aboard the crazy train-Cindy Rose edition- Part infinity…apparently!

*PLEASE SHARE WITH EVERY FREDERICK COUNTY VOTER YOU KNOW*

Why do we have to keep doing this??? Why?

Three losses isn’t enough. Thrice rejected isn’t enough rejection to let this woman know that we don’t want her on the school board. Now she’s added a cast of characters to what she calls her “slate.” We refuse to give anyone on this “slate” the time of day because: a.) they either didn’t do their due diligence and research what this woman is all about OR b.) they did and then decided to hitch their wagon to her horrible star anyway.

Not that star baby, keep looking!

They have a website where you can learn their names and read their bios, but we’ll give you a little breakdown. None of them except Cindy has kids in the school system. Not one of them has any background in education except, ” I used to go to school here.” Besides Cindy, only one candidate has kids, and he HOMESCHOOLED all of them! They are all very concerned that the white kids are being made to feel shame because they are learning about what actually happened in the past. All of them seem very concerned about issues that not one of them has even encountered, since they haven’t had any interaction with the school system since they were students! But hey, when has lack of experience ever stopped someone from talking out their ass!

There is something that we need to pay a little more attention to on this website because it is both hilarious and terrible. These irredeemable candidates have already made a so-called-contract with the parents and students of this county, and we haven’t heard so many bigoted dog whistles since we stopped listening to Trump speeches years ago. This part we will parse along with y’all.

Exhibit A:

Please, for the love of Athena, learn how to use quotes correctly! If you pay attention to the bios of these folks they claim they don’t have any political agenda and just want the facts! Now take notice of how they claim to want excellence for all kids regardless of a whole bunch of descriptions (we love the political affiliation throw in!) but this next bit is going to make all y’alls head spin.

Just look at all the false assumptions!

False assumptions galore!

Wow! Wow! Wow! So these non-political, common sense, critical thinking (cough cough) candidates are going to make sure that none of y’alls kids are going to hate America. Please note that the criteria for assessing a student’s possible hatred toward America is UNSPECIFIED, but we will use our critical thinking skills and imagine it will be applied to anyone who thinks differently from them. Nothing controversial is ever mentioned without expressed permission from the parent (who defines what constitutes controversial?), the LGBTQ+ community does not exist, and no “extra” rights for any of you! No matter your skin tone!!!! Oh, and don’t forget that the school system is now a theocracy because God is over government! You’ll learn which God a little later (hint: it is not Bastet)…

If any one of them had any sense at all they would have realized by now that equal rights and extra rights are not the same! AND puhleeeeeze grow up and stop with the lie that white people can’t handle the truth about the past. Many of us can deal with these issues very maturely and rationally, thank you very much! Notice how some white people are the only ones uncomfortable talking about race and some will do everything they can, including banning any truth-telling about the past, to avoid the slightest bit of discomfort? What a bunch of delicate snowflakes!

There’s more:

Number 2 is a direct hit against the transgender student policy, if you didn’t know! This has been a thorn in Cindy’s side for years now.
Third refers to the never-ending feud with Alban.

But let’s back up to that comment about the cameras in the classroom. First of all, it is illegal to record anyone with sound in the State of Maryland without their consent. That would mean that these cameras (and by the way, who would be monitoring those?) would not record sound, which means that any interaction would be open to all kinds of interpretation. And you know what? A policy like this would lead to a whole lot of FCPS teachers going elsewhere! Who wants to deal with a parent like Cindy Rose trying to dissect and invent captions for every little interaction?! No teacher gets paid enough to deal with that!

Are you starting to see the fascist streak in these folks? No talk of anything they believe to be slightly controversial, or anything that will–in their apparently expert opinions on hatefulness–make you hate America! How exactly do any critical thinking skills play into this educational philosophy? If you eliminate anything that has room for differing opinions, the opportunity for critical examination of ideas falls by the wayside as well! No groups aside from white heterosexuals will be spoken of, because these nutters waved a wand and now they don’t exist! That’s all “liberal hate talk!” And they will certainly not make the white heterosexuals feel bad about the past! And, oh yeah! They’ll be recording teachers and students 24/7 to make sure everyone complies! However, since the public won’t be able to listen to what the teachers say they will just go ahead and interpret all those classroom interactions for ya! And with their optimism and positive attitudes, that should be…uh…what’s the right word? Eventful? Terrifying? Terrorizing? Taliban-esque?

Guess what? There’s more! (We are so, so sorry; we promise it’s almost over.)

So, you can expect that no mitigation or policies for this pandemic or any future pandemic will be put into effect because of Freedumb! Parents can decide for themselves if they want to infect your child! Do you hate America or something? But hey, we already knew who these people were from the beginning, right?

We do have to pay a bit more attention to the last part up there. What a fucking hill to die on! They are going to support our so-called Judeo-Christian heritage by only acknowledging the Christian part AND making everyone else say the words Easter and Christmas because, “THERE! WE SHOWED YOU!!!!!” (There’s the God they were referring to earlier in the post.)

Easter Is Not Named After Ishtar, And Other Truths I Have To Tell You | The Belle Jar
Is this offensive or controversial? Will it be allowed to be discussed in school? So many questions.

Psst! Cindy, we have something to tell you about the word Easter. It’s the name of a Middle Eastern goddess who represented fertility. Nothing to do with Christianity whatsoever, but hey…policing people’s speech and thought makes you feel good, so keep on trucking, Sista!

Anyhoo, we need to share this link to everything we’ve been forced to write about this lady over the years, because it’s a lot and we can’t all possibly keep up. Let’s not get complacent though; these people want to bring our school system back to some rose-colored 1950s utopia that existed for very few Americans. It’s wrong, it’s harmful, and it’s not going to happen. Would a Rose by any other name stink this much?

We’ll leave you with something she posted years ago, which really sums her up nicely:

#neverforget

Is the 4th time a charm? Cindy Rose sure hopes so!

The tenacity of some folks!

Thrice loser, Cindy Rose, is hoping all this fraudulent election stuff (Trump is going to be President again don’t ya know!), harmful vaccines, unhealthy kid muzzles, and teaching people about the actual history of the U.S.A. is finally going to be her ticket to a place on the board.

No, it isn’t!

If you are new around here, or just need a good old-fashioned refresher, click on our very detailed reporting on this lady’s thought process. Beware, you are going to go to some pretty dark places. Pay special attention to her fear mongering regarding the sex ed curriculum. You’ll be tickled to find out that teaching kids about sex is akin to disrespecting all the little girls! #FACTS!

After hearing this ridiculous news, we decided to take a look at her Facebook page to see if things had gotten any better since the last time we had to write about her. It has gotten unequivocally worse:

We are sure Biden is shaking in his boots.
Imagine this one making any regulations about social studies curriculum!
PLEEEAAAASSSEEE!!!
Glad to see she’s finding common ground with the Democrat Socialist Anarchists! We didn’t even know that was a thing! Way to fit all those buzzwords into one post Cindy!

But seriously folks, this woman would rather your kids fall victim to a very transmittable variant of this virus just so she doesn’t have to admit she was so very wrong. This is probably propaganda to Cindy, but we are going to drop it here anyway:

https://www.nbcnews.com/health/health-news/delta-variant-more-dangerous-children-growing-number-kids-are-very-n1276035

Of course we are going to have more to say about her in the upcoming months, as we will also cover her new fave gubernatorial candidate (Poor Robin Ficker) Dan Cox. (Go ahead and click on his name for some good stuff!)

Stay vigilant folks! Our school system doesn’t need this kind of nonsense.

Is Cindy now on Jessica’s side? EnQuiring minds want to know!

Holy Mother of fonts!

This came upon your Lady Yokel’s inbox this evening, and while we are very much on board with this message (just type human trafficking into our search engine) we also have very long memories.

Once upon a time…let’s say about 4 years ago…Councilwoman Jessica Fitzwater put forth a bill to form a committee to study and address human trafficking in Frederick County. The usual characters were against this, and Billy went so far as to say there were people for and against human trafficking! Well, we also remember the new owner of the Tentacle, one Cindy Rose, was not on board with all of this human trafficking hullabaloo. In fact she said that it wasn’t even a local issue. Behold exhibit one:

Oh the conspiracies!

So back in the day (4 short years ago) any effort to combat human trafficking was part of some nefarious teacher union ploy. What has changed Cindy’s tune?! Could it be?…..

Just asking questions!

It is nice to see Cindy coming around to Jessica’s POV, especially after some of the nasty things she’s written about her on the noodlely appendage lately. (We are not going to link to that garbage.) We also do not want to disparage anyone for coming to the right side of an issue. However, given her past reluctance to treat this as a serious issue AND the recent Qanon conspiracies we can only assume that this really has more to do with baseless conspiracies than it does with actual human trafficking victims. Stay vigilant folks, and don’t forget to vote!

Freedumb from awareness. Freedumb from responsibility.

There is a growing movement amongst the “F All Y’all and Yer Feelings You Rode In On” crowd to reject the wearing of masks in public because it is “the mark of compliance.” As free and sovereign citizens they are now deciding in lieu of taking into account the health and wellbeing of others through required mask etiquette in essential businesses that they shall take their potentially infectious droplets and breathe them into the retail outlets of neighboring counties. Until they make their own rules when all the vitriolic fools of Appalachia turn up to exhale virus on them…

Folks, a person with this level of attention to detail and awareness of the world around is the editor of her very own website! Doesn’t that just boggle the mind? Also, it’s a stigma, but wear one if you want. So probably just wear an American flag themed one so that other people will know how to judge whether the government made you do it or it was your free will to choose to wear the mask if you want to…or…what? even? WTF. Insert giant facepalm here. There are numerous public posts on this same individual’s page that will elicit the same reaction.

You can see this effect taking hold if you read the comments on the FNP’s story about the mask requirements. We highly recommend taking the time to laugh out loud at how thieves are going to steal them right off your faces in the store! We probably need another poll. Something like “Is there too much lead in the water?” or “Just the right amount of lead in the water?” or “Would we all be better off with lithium in the water?” Now we can sit back and imagine the mind control histrionics of the people who have never given a rat’s tail about clean water in their lives! The things we have to do to keep from getting bored now…

You can track it amongst the crazies who cite number of current infections as though this isn’t a contagion. Psssst, you with the breath droplets you want to breathe into the air freely, the number literally changes moment to moment and asymptomatic carriers are infecting people all the time!

The Constitution of the United States, according to the smallest minds we could find…

It is also the mark of human decency, and the mark of the intellectual capacity to comprehend vectors of infection. We propose a poll. What should we call the people who want to breathe disease into the air whenever and wherever they want, public safety be damned!

“Why do you wear a mask and hood?”
I think everybody will in the near future,” was the man in black’s reply. “They’re terribly comfortable.”
― William Goldman, The Princess Bride

UPDATE: She’s found someone to help her sue the government over having to wear masks. What a great use of everyone’s time and resources. Feel free to use the email she gave:
