A potpourri of dumbf@ckery!

This election year is going to be a hot mess! And this is coming from a group of gals who followed Billy Shreve, Kirby Deluater, Blaine Young, and Tony Chmelik for years! We must guard our local government against the people who have no idea what’s going on outside their partisan bubble.

We’ll get you all nice and updated with our perennial foe, Cindy Rose, first! If you want to steel yourself with a shot of tequila, you’ll get no judgement from us!

When’s the last time she was in the company of other humans? Any English teachers want to use their red pen on this one?

Nope! Grow up! (Editor’s note: do y’all think this means she reaaaaally wants to be able to use the n word?)

Seriously!

Science teachers beware!

This last post is seriously one of the dumbest things we have ever read. Why fund studies? Why do experiments? Cindy has all the anecdotal evidence y’all will ever need! Folks, if we allow someone who wants to ban books, remove sex education from the curriculum because she finds it disrespectful, and apparently believes her stories trump peer-reviewed studies, why do we even have a school system? But that’s the point: make no mistake, that’s the absolute goal of Cindy and these other Republicans. They want to dismantle and delegitimize public education.

Yeah, that’s the reason. And so very rich coming from someone who wants to restrict information in the schools! And we think you mean “where,” not “were.”

Unfortunately we need to move on to Dan Cox and his delusional campaign for governor.

Dan claims that he’s a lawyer, but man his lack of knowledge is just embarrassing.

Seems like a good time to bring this back up!

Wondering what he’s been up to during this legislative session?

NB: Not that we would have been Tories back in the day, but Cox aligns himself instinctively? habitually? both? with overthrowing the government. Since he thinks Pence is a traitor, given all we know about current events, it’s a terrible look.

The opposition to a ghost gun ban is really special in light of the fact that a child was shot at a Montgomery County high school recently with a ghost gun. Dan (who didn’t attend public school nor do his children) doesn’t seem to realize that not all parents are good parents, and that for some kids school is the only place where they can talk to a trusted adult. Forcing school personnel to disclose certain information can lead to real harm to these children, both psychologically and physically. Impeaching an out-going governor is also a fun throw-in! Wonder where he copied and pasted that from! But Dan doesn’t live in the real world, just click on through this link to see our previous reporting on his past antics.

One last look at Dan’s amazing logic:

Whoa! That’s a lot to unpack! Maybe he is (gasp!) even more confused than we thought, though, since the Tories would have thought much the same of General Washington’s guerilla warriors. Pick an idea, Dan!

Isn’t it stunning how many Republicans worship Putin these days?

We’ll end on the other Republican candidate for governor, since dismantling public education seems to be the theme of this election year:

Let’s unpack this a bit shall we? Charter schools have not shown any better outcomes, especially the for-profit ones. Which are the ones Republicans push for because it makes money for their cronies. Schools have been open and those that have closed around the country have been the ones WITHOUT mask mandates. Curriculums and standards ARE already posted online, stop being lazy and look. What defines partisan politics? We would love an answer please! And do these safe school initiatives include keeping weapons out of the schools? We’ll be waiting……

It’s a Cox Trumpsgiving miracle!

Boy, do we have some good stuff for you this morning! Insurrectionist Dan Cox once again proves that he has the absolute worst political instincts of any American political candidate, anywhere!

Complete and total endorsement! How fancy!

This really begs the question: Does Dan know what state he lives in?

Where does most of Maryland’s population live? It’s not that hard to find out!

Larry Hogan had a bit of fun with this yesterday:

And a very obvious one!

It’s very apparent that Dan doesn’t want to win. If he did, he would have taken a page out of Youngkin’s playbook and avoided Trump like the plague. But then again, critical thinking isn’t one of Dan’s strong suits!

We’ll leave you with some comments from the FNP article on this travesty:

That’s all you can do with these people!
